VIS ISLAND. The warfare that has hit the Balkans with the virulent winds as the Bura and the Jugo has caused numerous shipwrecks in the Adriatic. Due to the proximity to the opposing countries of the Axis, the Allies had several bases along the Adriatic.
Our base is in the fishing village of Komiža at the foot of Mount Hum in the west of the island. Our boat
has a capacity for 15 divers, and the accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the diving centre.
