Our Erasmus Internship Program for Instructors and Divemasters,. allows dive centers to strengthen their teams while maintaining controlled operational costs, providing additional support during daily activities such as guiding dives, assisting courses, equipment preparation, and customer service.
Each internship is designed to ensure that students gain valuable professional experience, while dive centers benefit from additional team support and operational flexibility. The program creates a mutually beneficial collaboration, supporting both the development of future dive professionals and the operational needs of dive centers.

How does the International Dive Internship program work?
Who is this program designed for?
This program is designed for dive centers and resorts looking to strengthen their team with qualified Instructors, and Divemasters trainee to train and develop new professionals in-house while supporting professional development through a scholarship-based collaboration.
How do join the dive center or resort?
Instructors and Divemasters trainee join your operation through a scholarship program, becoming part of your team for the duration of the agreement.
How long does the scholarship last?
The scholarship has a duration of two months for Instructors, three months for Rescue divers and four months for Divemasters trainees, providing short-term operational support with the possibility of longer-term collaboration. The candidates are available from May to end of September.
What benefits does the dive center or resort receive?
You benefit from certified instructors and Divemasters trainees who support daily training and dive operations, enhance service capacity, and integrate quickly into your existing team—without the usual recruitment and hiring costs. The candidates begin their internships, subsidized by the Erasmus program, resulting in low operating costs for the diving center for the duration of the program.
Can the scholarship lead to employment?
Yes. Many centers use the scholarship period as an opportunity to evaluate instructors and DMT, and offer employment after the program if both parties agree..
Do Divemasters trainees candidates need prior diving certification?
No. Candidates start the program with no previous diving certification and are trained progressively until they reach professional Divemaster level.
What expenses does the Erasmus Scholarship cover?
The complete training from Open Water to Divemaster, including course fees, e-learning, accommodation, flight tickets, and full board, is covered by the Erasmus student scholarship.
Who is covering the cost of the service? The cost of service is covered by the dive center.
