Aquacore Diving Community

AQUACORE WRECKS EXPEDITIONS is an initiative focused on a different community of divers. If you like shipwrecks and indoor environments, this is your place. I suggest you explore all kinds of wrecks, flooded mines, and caves, some of them with a mysterious past.

I have an interest in shipwrecks. Their exploration, research, teaching, and divulgation, gave me the idea of creating my website for diving trips to these types of destinations. The wrecks are a window into the past. Each shipwreck hides a tragic story, being silent witnesses of what happened there. As we enter the bowels of a wreck, its ghostly remains come to life and invite us to explore more and more. During an exploration, that time stops, and the supernatural happens, subjugates us as if it were a spell. Back on the surface, you understand that from now on that nothing will be the same again.

Which program to choose? Malta, Croatia, Bonaire, or the Mediterranean protected marine reserves as Medes, Cap de Creus, and Ustica, with their abundant life and visibility, are a good choice and will not disappoint any recreational diver.

The technical diver has a whole range to choose from: From the Strait of Messina, the Hel peninsula in the Polish Baltic, Estonia, Scotland, Malta, and the island of Vis in Croatia with its historic wrecks, will meet the expectations of the most demanding technical divers.

Indoor programs in caves and flooded mines, such as Molnar Janos Cave and the Kobanya Mine, are only available to experienced divers with specific training in these complex environments.

Enjoying a typical Cypriot coffee in one of Larnaca's squares, strolling through decadent Valletta, or relaxing in a sauna on the remote island of Saaremaa, are some of the experiences that our non-diver companion can enjoy while we are underwater. Our companion is always present in each of our destinations to participate and enjoy.

Education

When we are under a hostile situation such as a hyperbaric environment, where the gas that I breathe to keep myself alive is limited, I take that situation very seriously.

A diver must be ready to undertake a previously planned dive with safety, comfort, and full enjoyment. As an educator, my role is to provide the necessary tools to transmit solid theoretical knowledge, the appropriate technique to execute the required skills and take a mature decision based on safety, good practices, and common sense above the purpose of diving in herself.

SHIPWRECK CULTURE

Here you will find a directory with the shipwrecks that you will have the opportunity to explore in any of the proposed destinations. At Aquacore, we closely follow three projects about the conservation of historic shipwrecks in Europe: BALTACAR, HERITAGE MALTA, and SCAPA FLOW projects. Choose your destination and let the adventure begin.
