UNDISCLOSED SECRETS

Island of Vis

INFORMATION

The war conflicts that have hit the Balkans, plus the virulent winds such as the Bura and the Jugo, have caused numerous shipwrecks in the Adriatic. Due to the proximity to the opposing countries of the axis, the allies had several bases along the Adriatic, one of them, which was precisely at our destination: the island of Vis on the Dalmatian coast.

WHERE WILL BE

Split airport is our entry point. From there, we move to the ferry terminal that will take us to the island of Vis. Our base is in the fishing town of Komiža at the foot of Mount Hum in the west of the island, and from there, we will carry out all proposed dives from the boat. Our boat has a capacity for 15 divers in total. Our accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the dive center.
